My two clown loach
Not sure if you know this, but clown loaches get huge…like require over 100 gallons huge. Also would be good if you got a few more since they are a shoaling species and as with all loaches can become aggressive to your other tank inhabitants over time if they are kept in groups fewer than five.
I know that but thank you :). For the moment my two clown Loach are very friendly with my other inhabitants.
I went through your blog and saw that this is a 120L tank (~30gallons) Clown loaches can get up to 16 inches long (40cm) [link to clown loach info] and when you keep them in a small tank their growth becomes stunted which means that the outside of their body stops growing, but the inside tissues and organs continue to grow. This leads to a very short life span and a very slow and painful death for your fish…For these guys I would recommend rehoming them to someone who has a very large tank to accommodate them. If you want loaches I would suggest a smaller species such as a dwarf loach [link to dwarf loach info].
If you love your fish you’ll want to provide the best and healthiest environment possible for them to live out their natural lives
I know that… i think buy another big tank in a time of need this fishes :).
